Cornwall Holiday Day 4
Today we went to a little village Clovelly in Devon, about 45min drive from Bude. A unique fishing village perched on a very steep hill. Actualy privately owned and partly funded by entry fees and the like.
At the top of the hill Jes had already had enough walking. Where as Nic was keen to go.
As the cobble road is so steep the milkman takes his product down on a sled.
A unique design on a front door.
There was a zig-zag path down to the harbour. This is a view out to the harbour.
A panoramic view look back towards the fishing harbour. No rock throwing allowed here.
Nic and Phillipa on the harbour.
Nic was very tempted to throwing some rocks here.
Some local fisherman trying to drum up some business for some boat trips.
Me and Nic looking back towards the harbour.
Nic and me again.
Ahh we found a secret spot to throw rocks. Nic and Jes loved it.
Jes is having a good looking for special throwing rocks.
And on the way out there were some donkeys on show, and a photo was begging.
Then we took a walk through the forest where we were able to climb higher through the surrounding forest. A helicopter view of Clovelly here.
Nic on the bridge in the forest.
