EuroDisney

In March 2005 we went on our first big trip to EuroDisney, near Paris. We booked the Explorers Hotel and took the Eurostar train from Waterloo. Thankfully the train arrives at Eurodisney so that is very convenient. There is definately a French feel but also the very fake American Disney thing all mixed up. The kids loved this trip and Nic is still saying he would like to go back again.

The train is just about to leave at Waterloo

Nicholas outside Disney on our first day

We arrived in the late afternoon and fortunately just caught the daily parade, one of the dancers here looking very happy.

The Princess castle in the middle of Disney.

Our first day was very cold as you can tell from this photo. Jes was trying to be as happy as possible.

I think this was the next day when the weather started to improve and we caught a signature with Goofy.

Jes was really going internally berserk here but was keeping it under wraps. Leading up to the holiday she went on and on about seeing Minnie Mouse but then when the moment arrived, well I think she was in shock.

One of the many. many rides at Disney.

This photo was taken in one of the theatres, great show.

This was the outdoor action movie set, lot of fast cars, plenty of smoke and fire. Phillipa even took part as a volunteer.

More cars and smoke.

And fire, that was hot ...

Mr Incredible, I hope that's his name...

This is the dinosaur from Toy Story. This was part of one of the many parades. Great value.

BuZZZ

Nic and Jessy.

Nic and the Mickey.

Miss (honey) Incredible. Nic knows how to pick the girls hey?

Woody and Nic, his hero.

Now the weather is getting better. Nice family shot.

We had to wear 3D glasses for one of the movies...

This train ran the perimeter of the park, great fun.

Ahhh, the classic teacups. In fact the park is very similar in design to the one in California.

These teacups are good fun.

Jes at the start of the Small World ride.

And the start of the big parade at 4pm, really good value.

Jes and Nic watching the parade and waiting for a signature perhaps.

Nic on the big Merry-go-round.

Ahh, this is the big scary dragon that lives under the Princess castle. Funny thing Jes wanted to go back to see the dragon time and time again.

The only good photo from the night parade.

Nic at breakfast in the hotel. The hotel was top class.

Ahh Nic dressed as a pirate.

This was in the Wild West of Disneyland.

More of the Wild West...

The was the wild train ride.

And it towards the latter of the holiday it was so warm it was "tshirt weather". Posted by Hello
