Battersea Park and Sunshine

We went to Battersea Park in London as the sun was shining - shock !! Lovely park, one of the best. Certainly worth another visit.

Looking out across one of the lakes in the park.

Quick stop at the playground, and a bit to eat.Nic and Jes munching on some lunch.

Soak up that sun.

And there was playtime on the bouncy castle, bit like walking past the icecream truck these days, bit hard to to say no.

And the bigger kids turn.

A lovely tree in blosom, with Nic and Jes in the background. ...we were confronted by a 'playful' rottweiller dog after this and the owner claimed he would never hurt anyone, umm yeah, pull the other, it's got bells on.

Another nice shot, but couldn't work out the Japanese contraption on the trees...?

Nic and Jes, ahhh nice bro and sis.

Battersea is on the Thames...

And some strange old factories near by...

While we were waiting for the bus, this street was a bit like "lovely, can't wait to leave..." it seemed. Posted by Picasa

Great photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can understand why folks in UK would worship the 'sun' ?
But there wouldn't be much worshipping done would there?
